On 27th October 2023, the Bulgakov Society and the Russian Club in Hong Kong hosted a Halloween party on tram No. 18.

The founder of the Bulgakov Society – Ms. Julia Charlton in her opening speech spoke about how the tram connected the socio-cultural space of Moscow and Hong Kong. And most importantly, she revealed the secret that it was the tram that inspired her to create the Mikhail Bulgakov Society as an intellectual platform uniting people ready to discuss and develop the writer’s philosophical ideas.

Our guests amazed the wildest imagination with their outfits associated with the characters from the first chapters of the famous book “The Master and Margarita”. Fun and creative competitions made the atmosphere of the evening warm, cheerful, relaxed and, of course, unforgettable.
